I have to agree with Max. Whatever the type of store there is – be it an online jewelry store or a walk-in shop, one must determine first if it is a reputable company with a stable good business history. It is the purchaser’s homework to do a thorough research to ensure that he is getting his money’s worth and not being ripped off. I still think that online shopping remains a very convenient and safe way to purchase jewelries.

If you don’t trust the people you are dealing with you should not purchase anything from them wheatear online or through a traditional means. Once you determine a site is reputable and that you can trust them than I think it is much better to purchase your piece of jewelry online rather than from a traditional brick-and-mortar jeweler.

I do get what you are saying here about the advantages, what gets me is honesty, if you know what i mean, one purchases online and it is then mailed to you who is to say that you do get that diamond and that its not a fake and that you have been had.
